The Center for Southeast Asian Studies (CSEAS) at NIU is dedicated to increasing the world’s knowledge and understanding of Southeast Asia's eleven countries: Brunei, Burma/Myanmar, Cambodia, East Timor, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
